Welcome to Park Place Elementary, the best elementary school in the South Division driven by a clear mission: to deliver high-quality instruction in every classroom, every day—because every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. I am honored to serve as your Principal and to lead this campus with a relentless focus on academic excellence, equity, and results.

With over 19 years of experience in Houston ISD, I understand what it takes to move schools forward. My leadership is grounded in data-driven decision-making, instructional excellence, and a deep belief that all students can achieve at high levels—regardless of background or circumstance. I’ve had the privilege of leading and supporting schools that have demonstrated measurable growth, including moving campuses from a B to an A rating and exceeding growth targets on national assessments. As a former immigrant student, I know firsthand the challenges many of our students face. That experience fuels my commitment to creating a school environment where every child is seen, supported, and challenged. We will meet students where they are and accelerate their learning through targeted support, high-impact teaching, and a culture of high expectations. Returning to Park Place feels like coming home. I know the strength of this community, and I am confident that—together—we can build a school where excellence is not just a goal, but a daily reality.
